@whimsicaltsiria: snakes are SUCH feminine species. people like to label cats, or does or soft, gentle things as feminine representation but no one ever thinks to add the snake. majority of female snakes are larger than the males, and have (rarely) been seen even partaking in (consensual) cannibalism after mating with the male. snakes may not have the best motherly instinct, however some guard a clutch with their entire life. i feel like snakes are such underrepresented creatures, at least when it comes to good representation. like all animals, snakes aren’t evil nor villanous, and snakes are not these creatures who seek out children and men to eat and poison 💀💀 snakes don’t actually prefer humans due to our skeletal structure and shoulders, and snake attacks from boas rarely ever happen because of this fact! while there are snakes which have been known to kill countless of people, it often times is not out of malice. snakes do not like to waste venom, and will avoid interaction with ANYTHING dangerous. in cases of attacks, people often times are bit because of accidental proximity or being stepped on, resorting in a startled defense. majority of the time (unless of desperation) snakes are NOT striking to eat humans, but to defend themself. while snakes are dangerous, they are NOT evil, and are NOT out to kill babies, kids or men and women. they are animals trying to exist. and girl bosses 🐍🐍 #boaconstrictor #snakes #feminime #snake #noodles

Actually no. I’ve never found them gross or scary. I have a healthy cautiousness of them in the wild. But they’re so pretty! And not slimy. So I’ve never gotten why other people find them icky.
