yeah you're telling me our choir needs new stands because our old ones that we had for a very long time probably before my choir teacher that has been there for millennia had collapsed on another choir group from another school during CPA and we don't have the money to be able to get new risers because the school won't give us the money and they only spend it on sports. choir and theater don't do fundraisers we don't. we don't make any money so we cannot get new ones 🤷

Our state took funding from public schools and gave it to charter schools. Public schools basically begged for a tax levy and voters denied it, so they’re having to make major cuts. It’s crazy how the government is abandoning our future.

Yeah the carpet in my classroom gets shampooed each year. Left to sit over the summer in a 90 degree room with 80% humidity and the door shut. I just love that incredibly wonderful mold smell being fresh for my return in August and the opportunity for me to glue the squares back down. 🤢
