As a fellow POTS girly, look into MCAS! I have both and it really is miserable. You still go into flares even on meds but not nearly as bad once meds start working. I always pray they will find a cure for this 😫 it really is awful.

Not a doctor and not trying to be but I’ve noticed you use a lot of different fragrances such as scent beads in the laundry, plugins, candles, etc. These can cause many of the symptoms you are experiencing. It may not be related at all, but maybe do your own research or talk to a doctor.

I’m a cardiac nurse you need to get a Tryptase level during a “flare”. With POTS comes MCAS, Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome, chronic fatigue. They are all dysautonomia syndromes.

These symptoms sound similar to thyroid issues! You can have flares, depression, extreme fatigue and more. My six year old was diagnosed with hashimotos/hypothyroid and her symptom are similar to yours!

As a nurse. I’m telling you, lupus. All the symptoms. Esp the hands. Rheumatoid arthritis goes hand in hand alotnof the times with lupus. Fatigue. Silent. Comes & goes in “flare ups” my sister has had it for over 20 yrs. Was diagnosed @13!! Also affects other systems 9/10…. including cardiac issues.

By chance, does the depression happen the week before your period? I have PMDD and the week before my period I feel awful physically and mentally.

I have systemic lupus and that is how I feel when I’m in a flare up!!! It took a few years to finally get my diagnosis, and rheumatology drs have been a god send for me!
