For those who want to know the reason behind this: The hair at the root is always oilier bc of our natural body oil from the scalp and the Boar Bristles can take the oil from the strands and distribute it down to the dry middle&ends! It’s basically evening out the oil to the whole strand which is a special attribute to the boar bristles
