Newborns shouldn’t be in a car seat for no longer than 30 minutes. Older babies no longer than 2 hours. If on a road trip take them out and let them lay on a flat surface and feed them and everything.

Breast fed babies do not but formula fed babies can actually have small amounts of cool boiled water
