@girlaboutmelb: Kiss and Tell is a hidden Asian fusion restaurant located above Little Bourke Street in Melbourne CBD. It’s part of the @Mamas Dining Group (the team behind Hochi Mama, Disuko and Windsor Wine Room) and I actually feel like this is one of their least spoken about venues! The space is dark, moody and intimate with a slightly sultry feel. They offer an Asian fusion tapas style menu designed for sharing, alongside a $55pp set dinner menu ($50 at lunch) which includes your choice of 2 starters, 2 large dishes and 1 side to share. Depending on the dishes you choose, you’ll usually save around $10. ➖ Tempura lobster sliders, spicy mayo ✔️ Salt n pepper squid, chilli caramelised sauce - perfect tender, love the caramel sauce! ⭐️ Sweet & sour chicken - love the combination of vegetables and fruits ✔️ Blossom beef salad - love the dressing, slightly spicy, lots of beef! ⭐️ Snake beans, tom yum, toasted coconut ➖ Coconut pudding, corn - I’m not really sure what about this was pudding like. The flavours apart from the corn were ok, I just think it’s a bit odd and I wouldn’t reorder. I think it’s too far different to what people would expect with a pudding. Overall, we found the portions very generous and didn’t feel the need to order extra dishes. A lot of the menu felt quite similar with lots of fried elements and rich sauces throughout but there were definitely some standout dishes in the mix. 😊 Worth a try, a great option for pre theatre dining or a date night!
