While I understand that yes, it was part of the party , it wasn’t the reason you were celebrating. Yes , they screwed up, but the party still happened the graduation still happened. Take the gift certificate and move on. Sams club screwed up my sons cake. Wrong colors,it wasn’t filled… yada yada… we still celebrated him and the party was great… move on

Sam's Club messed up my graduation cake really badly. I also had a two-tier cake that I prepaid for. I ended up going with a chocolate sheet cake, which I hate. It was a bummer, but it was still a nice party.
