No matter how much I slept, I woke up exhausted & with a headache before the day even started.  I’d drag myself out of bed for my 5am routine, force myself through workouts, & drank 3 cups of coffee just to make it through the day.  Then I’d go to an office job that sucked the soul out of me, secretly fantasizing about starting a coaching business, while trying not to fall asleep at my desk.  By the time I got home, I had 0 energy left so I took long naps at random times in the day.  I’d spend my nights scrolling on social media while binge watching Netflix.  Then I’d lay in bed, unable to sleep for 3hrs after I already took 2 melatonins. Just dreading doing it all over again the next day.  When this cycle repeats over and over your nervous system can’t help but to slowly shut down.  Everything changed when I learned to regulate my nervous system, detach my worth from achievement, and reconnect with my purpose.  Today, I wake up feeling energized, fulfilled, and excited about life.  I finally believed in myself enough to start my dream business and work harder than I ever did before, without getting burned out because my energy is fueled by purpose, not pressure.  I’m building a life that actually feels aligned while practicing being happy in the present.  And now have the absolute pleasure of helping other ambitious women do the same, without losing your drive.
