To prawda, że w Polsce nie da się szybko zaprzyjaźnić ani poznać ludzi. Mieszkam w Polsce od sześciu lat i nie mam żadnych przyjaciół; znam tylko dwie osoby i nie rozmawiają ze sobą często, tylko kilka razy.

If You have seen old movies with Robert De Niro - you’ll understand. Ppl here like „order” in public life - clean streets, low crime stats and respect to others ppl’s space. I saw a Marvel movie where there was an American crowd in the audience, and they were reacting super loudly to everything. Over here, light laughter is fine, but we don’t get overly excited about every single scene or comment like "oh nooooooo". If you’re not a teenager - being loud is not welcome in Poland. PS. You can catch the waiter’s eye and give a slight wave, or just ask them when they walk past. Shouting across the room or waving frantically like you're at an auction is considered rude.
