![EXCLUSIVE: Inside Riyadh Air Inaugural Flight in Business Class on the Boeing 787-9. Yesterday, I had the incredible privilege of flying onboard Riyadh Air’s maiden flight from King Khalid International Airport to London Heathrow Airport. This is a historic moment I have been looking forward to for years. After a few hours inside Riyadh Air’s stunning Hafawa Lounge, which I’ll be reviewing soon, we headed to a special departure ceremony before boarding the airline’s brand new Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner. If I had to describe this experience in two words: Phenomenal hospitality. The warmth, energy, friendliness, and attention to detail from the crew were truly exceptional. The new 1-2-1 Business Class cabin feels straight out of the future, with beautiful lighting, sleek design, and one of the most impressive cabin aesthetics I’ve seen onboard an aircraft. Guests were welcomed with Riyadh Air’s signature drink, traditional Saudi coffee, and dates before CEO Tony Douglas personally came through the cabin to greet passengers. The Kayanee amenity kit was beautifully presented, and shortly after takeoff, the crew transformed the seat into one of the most comfortable beds I’ve experienced in Business Class.
