Leave a little post it stuck under the desk to wish the next person luck. Someone did that for me and I passed it on. I guess the cleaners didn’t look there 😅 or kindly left it!

As someone who had a TERRIBLE house sitch at uni with toxic people, next year please please please 1. draw up a cleaning rota (friends or not you’ll all be grateful you did), and 2. Remember everyone comes from different standards of living at home so please be patient and kind with each other when it gets messy. Shouting and pass agg messages create awful tension. Whatever happens, be NICE to each other 🙏🏼 Enjoy uni hunni 😌

I’m going into 3rd year at RHUL! i still grieve my 1st year room in Gowar daily, the halls experience is unmatchable, completely live in your own microcosm amongst the best of people navigating adult life, I hope 2nd year treats you well, it’s truly over before you know it 🥲🤍

Miss my uni room, I was able to stay there for 2 tenancies and it made me uni experience so much better.

For anyone who it's important for a safe space: If the uni is under intake for September you can always try and request on-campus accommodation again. It's sometimes too late for most people as they have off-campus sorted, but just know it's an option if you can break your off-campus contract.

I felt the exact same way..it was so nostalgic! 🥹…also our uni literally ended the first year in like end of March, so it felt like such a short first year. But I haven’t fully moved out yet, I just couldn’t bring myself to do so. I’m back home atm but having to pay for accommodation till July so hv been going to stay every now and then.
