Did your doctor prescribe you acid reflex medication? My doctor prescribed me one that I have to take for at least 30 days but then I had some pain in my chest and that was due to the acid reflex and then he had to prescribe for another 90 days. Try to set your mind not as you normally eat and drink. You have to be very cautious and take your time. But trust me after a while it does get easier and you will start seeing the changes.

I had to use a little applesauce with my pills because I kept feeling like the pill was stuck in my throat. I had surgery on 4/20. I totally understand what you are going through.

It sounds like acid reflux try teaspoon of baking soda in a cup of room temperature water. Hope that helps🥰
