That’s insane. I’ve applied to Elf 4x and not landed an interview with a master’s degree, agency experience, and in-house experience. I was thinking the candidate pool was so saturated, but then I hear ppl are showing up not even knowing the brand omgggggg🫠😭 brb crying

as a creator who owns a media agency & has also applied for smm jobs, one thing that alwaaaaays is an immediate no for me is when people i can tell they’ve done 0 research. i’m the type of person that will deep dive AND bring ideas. so number 1 is HUGE

Definitely a huge tip for recent grads looking to get into marketing who were creators: showing branded content vs grwms for example. The brand wants to see what content you could make for them.
