I’m sure hoping your clinician considers using a liner for you once you’ve completed your volume atrophy & reduction. Maybe consider pin lock or suction/vacuum suspension. Suspension sleeves tend to get hot, sweaty and limit flexion and ROM. Best to you from a retired CP and lifelong amputee.

I'm a left bka of 5 yrs now. I got my newest socket 2 weeks ago and I'm already up to 10 ply. I go back tomorrow and hopefully we can get it figured out. I use Bakers and love them

4 years in. I've had i think 5 sockets at this point. first 2 were just black carbon, then I did a blue carbon, a green carbon, and my current is a red like dragon scale fabric i found at JoAnns before they closed. your new socket should last you quite a bit longer so go with what you want to see every day for at least a year.
