@theadventtruth: Many people sincerely love Jesus within the Roman Catholic system. This is not about attacking individuals. But when we compare Scripture with Scripture, the Bible gives specific identifying marks for God’s final remnant church — and Catholicism does not fit them. 📖 Revelation 12:17 says the remnant: “keep the commandments of God, and have the testimony of Jesus Christ.” The end-time remnant would: 1️⃣ Keep ALL of God’s commandments — including the seventh-day Sabbath. 2️⃣ Have the “testimony of Jesus,” which Revelation 19:10 defines as “the spirit of prophecy.” 3️⃣ Rise after the 1,260 years of papal persecution (538–1798). 4️⃣ Proclaim the Three Angels’ Messages of Revelation 14 to the whole world. 5️⃣ Call people out of Babylon and back to Bible truth. Roman Catholicism cannot be that remnant because historically it openly claims authority to change God’s law regarding the Sabbath. Even Catholic sources admit Sunday observance is based on church tradition, not a command of Scripture. The remnant church, however, would uphold God’s commandments — not alter them. The Bible also describes the woman of Revelation 17 as a church clothed in worldly power, sitting on many waters, ruling over kings, and intoxicated with false doctrine and persecution. That system cannot simultaneously be the pure remnant woman of Revelation 12. Only the Seventh-day Adventist Church uniquely fits ALL the prophetic marks together: ✔️ Emerged after 1798. ✔️ Keeps the seventh-day Sabbath. ✔️ Emphasizes obedience through faith in Christ. ✔️ Possesses the prophetic ministry associated with Ellen G. White. ✔️ Proclaims Revelation 14 globally. ✔️ Teaches the heavenly sanctuary, judgment, and Christ’s soon return. This is not a claim of superiority because Adventists are better people. The remnant is not about human perfection — it is about a movement God raises up to restore forgotten truths before Jesus returns. God has faithful children in many churches, including Catholicism. Revelation 18:4 shows God still calling sincere people: 📖 “Come out of her, my people…” The issue in the last days is worship, authority, and obedience.
