best city ever: no traffic, best compromise between small town and big city, always something to do. BTW orange trees are in the fall and in the summer all those streets you were looking at are FULL of people.

Those red leaves change colour in the FALL! What you would call Autumn... "Printemps" in Quebec. The Fall Colours peak in October and are the most beautiful in Eastern and Atlantic Canada. Quebec city is beautiful and super Francophone. Other beautiful maritime cities & towns that you should explore include Halifax, Lunenburg, Peggy's Cove, St. John's, Charlottetown, Summerside, St. Andrew's by the sea, and Shediac. 🇨🇦

I live here! the "greatest" Quebec area is about 400k people. The old Quebec that the pictures are from are more touristic so thats why theres not that many people. also depends on the time of the day/week/year you come in. Ill be glad to suggest could spots and things to do :)
