sometimes people need to know, not every food is gonna match their taste, and not everyone has that same taste, taste is subjective. so when a food is "bad", you can word it differently, "maybe it's just not my taste, it's kinda too bitter for me, if you guys are lovers of that bitterness, this one is for you, maybe not for me tho"
