PLEASE READ THIS FIRST:🍑 I got a lot of requests to make a tier list for best glute exercises, and these were a lot of the exercises asked about. BUT… ➡️ THERE IS NO SUCH THING AS A *BEST* EXERCISE FOR EVERYONE Your individual anatomy, experience, goals, and resources available will always determine what the best approach is *FOR YOU* i.e. I have a longer spine and torso which makes RDL’s a bit tougher for me than someone shorter with a larger lower body So an RDL would be better for them than it would me🤷🏽‍♂️ And the same goes for every exercise on this list For complete glute training, you would ideally choose at least one exercise from each of the following categories: - Thrust or bridge movements - Squatting or lunging movements - Hinge/pull movements - and Abduction movements This way you are giving attention to all major parts of the muscle. As always, training with intensity (a few reps short of failure) and correct form is above all else.🔥 *Notes on specific movements mentioned in clip* Mini-band exercises: - These can be great additions to glute training. For improving mind-muscle connection, activation, and low resistance volume on days off hard training. They can even be added to weighted movements like the hip thrust - they’re just not great on their own. Bulgarian split squat: - These didn’t receive the top tier just because many people have a hard time balancing, making it hard for them to use heavy enough weights to hit their glutes hard enough. A great substitution would be a single-leg leg press. KAS glute bridge: - This is just a small variation from a normal glute bridge or hip thrust, isolating the top part of the movement. I suggest looking up form differences on youtube for a better breakdown than I could give in the comments #glute #glutes #glutesworkout #glutetransformation #FitTok
