@connect.hv: The Walkway Over the Hudson is one of the longest pedestrian bridges on earth, 212 feet above the Hudson River. It started life as a railroad bridge, connecting the coal fields of Pennsylvania with the industrial centers of New England. It caught fire in the 1970s and sat dormant until 2009, when it reopened as the park it is today. There is SO MUCH to do on both sides of the bridge. In Highland, I’m particularly fond of @hudsonaleworks and Underground Coffee and Ales. In Poughkeepsie, there’s @Rossideli and @zeusbrewingco and so much more.
