"tipping" culture is getting out of hand in the US. The government should follow the examples of other countries and create laws that make it mandatory for businesses to pay a minimum wage level set by the law. (livable minimum wage). It has worked in other countries.

Tipping is the big success story of the service industry. They pay their employees less, and then pass the blame to the customer if you are struggling to afford food and rent. It is NEVER the customers fault if you don't earn enough at your job. Only your employers.
