I’ve watched the 3 parts abc I live by the Canadian Rockies and always had my daughter out in the mountains with me since she was in my snuggly then backpack then did her first hike at 5 years old, we naturally always had bear spray, we have seen many predatory animals that we were educated enough to maneuver ourselves in their territory properly. My daughter is now 27 and living many new adventures on the other side of Canada. Thinking back as I watch this young lady, I’m thinking that we would all feel very unsettled if we saw the encounter, it sounds like she’s over reacting and it’s just other ppl in the woods but no, something set off her instincts about that encounter and she followed her instincts because she’s smart, moved, stayed vigilant, aware that we all choose the bear over the man for a bloody reason. This is the perfect example of what to do when you’re alone as a woman and to always trust your instincts. Shes smart to not live in fear, but something was off and her reaction was instinctual. I’m glad this ended the way it did. Safe travels to this young lady, hope she makes it up to our Rockies sometime. 🩷🩷🩷
