There is definitely work to be done. I’m on Hinge at least two-three times a week, have never not messaged a match, typically leave a comment when I like, and yet the only thing that pops up for mine is verification and look before liking. Like what else do I have to do??

So what you're saying is for people like me who get about 4 matches a year and get no responses from the first messages are just gonna have even less of a chance to match with someone because of the very few matches we have gotten, none of them have even had a conversation with us

I had a few matches show up with that. Took them days and days, sometimes a week to respond. I unmatch after 2 weeks if no date is planned with and explanation and opportunity to plan a meet before.

I can kinda get down with that feature because I can’t stand matching with someone and then the communication consists of an exchange of few word answers every handful of hours. At least with this, you know whether or not you’ll hear from your match in either in a timely fashion or 7-10 business days.
