Idk I just don’t believe it. When you truly love someone you will do anything to show them how important they are to you. Including loving them how they communicate they feel loved and cared about. Its not hard to simply consider someone else if you are a kind, emotionally intelligent, self aware person putting in effort. Doesn’t have to be perfect everytime.

As someone with a lot of depth and a lot of love to give, I don't think I'm compatible with an avoidant person. If my needs aren't met, I can't show up as my best self in a relationship. I may even end up seeking emotional fulfillment elsewhere. When two people have different emotional capacities, what feels like a reasonable need for connection to one may feel overwhelming to the other. Why choose disaster when you can already see the incompatibility from a mile away? I don't hold it against anyone, though, because I understand that these patterns often stem from upbringing and life experiences.

I’m just speaking from my experience ofc. Yknow this was the defence I used for the entire year… the only thing that snapped me out of the haze was realizing that maybe he is a bad person. I had to swallow that pill to put myself first.
