Now dont get me wrong I loved my maw-maw but paw-paw that was my dude. He was always doing things with me and teaching me stuff. He showed me how to work on cars and fix things around the house. We'd go fishing watch wrestling shoot marbles and go to the flea market. He taught me what a man was supposed to be by his actions. He had been gone over 20 years and not a day goes by I dont think about something he taught or told me.

That's how I was with both sets of my Grandparents. They were amazing people. I have tried to show my Grandkids as much love as I can.

when our gkids come to visit, the first one they go to is Memaw. then I get my hugs. beautiful to watch. bcuz Memaw isn't blood. she's my second wife. I love to watch them go to her. acceptance is a wonderful thing to see.
