i literally see nobody talking about the north/south divide its crazy, i live in the south (REALLY south lol im in kent) and until i got closer with a couple people from up the north side of the country i didnt realise how much more intense it is up there, genuinely so unsure why people dont talk about it

I live in the worst area in England and its so noticeable that its just underdeveloped, we used to have a massive industrial influence but now its just terrible, when i went to London for the first time it really showed how vastly different the quality of life is between the 2, i love the north but it needs more investment, even if its just Manchester that gets the funding it could open more opportunities

its because london is growing so much faster than the rest of the uk if we did re invest into rural parts of england, we would find and return on investment, this is because we are on a service based economy. and since we are on a service based economy jobs are concentrated in big cities, such as mainly London and Manchester.
