I buy myself a piece of everyday gold jewellery for every milestone.. not the best investment but better than treating myself to something that I would use up. Wearing them daily is a reminder of my achievements too. I do agree though, it’s not the best investment but a great store of cash

I get the owning gold and buying it cheap now and saving for your daughter etc but I feel I’m really missing something. Gold does cost a lot of money, we buy it and either wear it occasion or put it safely away. I get it increases in value but to what end id say in your safe. And to be honest we are reluctant to sell it aswell. So its not giving us monetary income of investment unlike say we went and bought property which would go up in value plus give us a montary income. I may be missing something very obvious. But I’ve never got the idea for buying gold as an investment. 🤔

Make sure you get 999.9 gold, 24 Karat,the purest you can buy. DON'T buy krugerands or 22ct, they cost less but appreciate less also.
