I live in New York and I’ve been going to Tokyo at least 2 times a year my whole life. Tokyo gets you the most for your money, and any Japanese style food there is world class, but in New York, there is so much more diversity in the kinds of food you can get, whether it’s Italian, Indian, Chinese, or Mexican, making me consider that if you can pay for it, New York is better just because of the versatility and range of options.
