As a DJ that uses lights. My lasers are pointed to the ceiling or not used. I have photography friends that explained this to me.

Fun fact, it’s also doing that to your eye. Look up laser variance laws. There are very strict guidelines to using laser projectors for this exact reason

I had a DJ recently told me that it was impossible for lasers to harm a modern day camera……. I said, how about you stick to what you know and I’ll stick to what I know, please stop pointing out towards guest.

those lasers should never be at eye level with guests due to it also potentially damaging the eyes of people or any camera lens really. Lasers should always be facing upwards
