Hospice offers various resources for the entire family and also offers respite care (5 day care) to give caregivers a break…its not just for final days… Hospice simply means moving from curative care to comfort care ….it can also mean taking a break FOR A TIME FRAME not necessarily forever. They have tons of pain management resources as well as emotional & spiritual support and one can utilize them and then restart treatments. In my caregiving experiences, Hospice is far superior to palliative care!! Hospice supports the entire family I can’t recommend the service enough!!! It breaks my heart that Hospice is so misunderstood and many miss out on the care they deserve! 🙏🥰
