They’ve found a patch of paper in John smiths map and it led archaeologists to a couple of land patches that had European artifacts, so archeologists assume they just went farther down the river, this discovery was like a month ago

I just want to point out for everyone saying that this mystery is "solved," it's not, all these are just theories of what happened and assumptions. The true fate is still unknown, even with recent discoveries it doesnt prove what actually happened, just that something did.

OK guys to listen apparently they figured this out. They’re not for sure but they think they found them. So a bunch of archaeologist or whatever you call them went to the Crowton island whatever they were talked about and they started digging stuff up. Well they found like metal shavings or metal something that came from hitting metal like hot metal on an anvil, and that technology was only known by the British, and this was before other colonies arrived. You can find the video on YouTube somewhere. I just don’t remember all the details but I saw it forever ago.
