This song is truly beautiful… her voice carries something so pure and honest within it ✨✨
And yes, growing up on a farm teaches you things no book could ever fully explain. There is a wisdom in the land, in the animals, in the early mornings and hard work a kind of quiet knowledge that can only be learned through living it. To me, there is nothing more beautiful than farm life.
My parents had a company with heavy equipment, but alongside that, we also had a large farm. So I grew up between two worlds one built by business and machinery, and the other by soil, simplicity, and nature.
My father always used to say that school and books could never teach us everything. He believed that hard work, discipline, and dedication would carry a person further than titles ever could.
But society often teaches us something different. It makes people believe they need degrees, status, or powerful positions to be considered important. Important for society perhaps… but not always for the soul.
When I was younger, my heart always belonged to the farm, even though I chose the path of studying and eventually completed my master’s degree. Yet deep inside, I always felt that the fast-moving outside world was never truly where my soul belonged.
And I think many people who were raised close to the land eventually feel the same. Sooner or later, we find our way back to simplicity back to the quiet life, the open air, and the parts of ourselves that feel most at peace there.
