Where are they buying engines for 15k, when at the dealer they’re $7-$8k or are they charging the difference in labor, still makes no sense, that noise is a collapsed lifter, they’re so used to only working on diesel engines that they look like kids with a new toy, 🤪

way too many videos of Chevy Ford and Dodge trucks having engine problems and not even having that many miles on them. . main reason I bought a Toyota. my 2010 Tundra has never had a single issue.

my escalde made that noise turned out to be the starter, the pinion wouldn't go back so it was just hitting the flywheel
