he was such a good dad but instead of everyone seeing that, they only saw his bad side's, instead of seeing how much he did for his family they only saw him drinking, instead of seeing how much he loved his kid's they chose to see the fact he'd "run away" when it'd get hard. they only saw his bad side just because they didn't wanna see his good side.

I had a dad like George, he was an amazing dad he cared for everyone around him and kept his stress to himself. He often got overlooked by the family and I regret it deeply for the part I played. but a year ago he was taken away from us too soon. I miss you dad
