Thank you for everything that you do for your mom. I know it’s hard my father 77 and I just turned 48 and I am my dad‘s live in caregiver. I have friends and family that come and help me but they don’t stay. I’ve been told to be patient with him, but it’s really hard when I have my own disabilities. Can you give me some pointers?

My mom and I lived with my grandmother most of my childhood and my senior year her dementia went down hill quickly before she passed away a couple months before I graduated . It can be very tough at times watching someone you love lose themselves and it can be frustrating. But looking back I only remember who she was before she lost herself. Try your best and love her as much as you can.
