Unpopular but may help some. I never breastfed in bed. I picked him up and walked to the living room to nurse on the couch every time. If I stayed in bed I would’ve definitely fallen asleep holding him in an unsafe position. The walk out to the living room and a different space woke me up just enough

The newborn nighttime routine is basically just trying to make survival slightly easier 🫠 snacks by the bed, dim lights, extra clothes ready… anything to avoid fully waking up at 3am lol. I spent months feeling inflamed, exhausted and emotionally overwhelmed before a friend told me about Eat Like a Woman Protocol written by Loren Green. Best thing i tried honestly—31 lbs down, flatter stomach and way steadier energy now. Feels like hidden mom info fr)

Totally agree with just wanting to be alone in the night! I'm pregnant with my 3rd and solely breastfeed as well. I'd rather my husband be well-rested to help more during the day than be tired with me!

Wait!!! Question? We have a Snoo as well, but do you not use the swaddles that go with the Snoo? Also, when you're feeding them at night after you've changed them, do you swaddle them and then feed, or is that not “safe”?
