I was this child. It’s hard and confusing especially when you see others getting sober but not your mom. I’ve struggled with my worth because of it. We weren’t worth getting sober for and that’s difficult to accept.

I'm 19 and my moms been struggling with her addiction since I was 11 (I think its been going on longer tho.) Even though I am an adult now it's still so hard and complicated. I have watched my mother become a completely different person the last 7 years and a try so hard to hold onto the little moments where she acts like she once did. I don't knoow. It's difficult and weird.

So glad you saw my Facebook status today- I saw your comment and thought about how proud I am of you. I pray you see yourself through Mack’s eyes and know how life changing your sobriety is for him now — and future Mack, who will never have to grieve his mom who is still alive ♥️

Living with someone you love who is/was in active addiction is so draining. Thank you for talking about this, because it’s not talked about enough.

I lost my mom at a real young age to alcoholism. I love your videos, makes me happy to see a mother heal. It was hard to parse when I was younger, but the older I get I understand the things that push us to those extremes. Life's hard and it's complicated, we frustrate ourselves trying to boil it down to simplicities. Please never stop posting videos.

My dad is 69 and I don’t ever recall wishing because I never thought it was even an option. Until I found you. He’s a good dad don’t get me wrong… but we all have things we can work on…

I grieved my dad while he was alive until he wasn't (About a year ago). Thank you for saying this. I've followed you for a long time while becoming a mom. Absolutely love you. Thank you. I'm still learning.

I paused this, I haven’t watched the full thing. But I’ve heard “this is for the people whose mothers haven’t found it yet” neither of my parents have found it. They have no home and they will give their body for anything and it hurts to not be able to speak to them but I’m very angry and very mean and I can’t pretend I don’t know how so I have not spoken to them since 18 and I’m 21. Although I’m very lucky, very privelleged, and definitely take all that I have for granted, I am a very sad person and although I think I will stay here I do have times I really don’t know how I’m staying here. Thank you for whatever you say I will be unpausing this, but the pure fact u wanted to bring a message for me and others like me is beautiful and I wanna thank you before I hear the rest because THANK YOU. And for the others like me I’m so sorry and I wish we didn’t have to do this, you are beautiful, you are STRONG even if u hate when people call u strong because of what it entails. I’m so PROUD OF YOU. You DESERVE THAT, my words will never be as important as hearing it from ur own parents but that’s just a feeling, coming from me, I’m sure the woman who posted this, and BILLIONS of others I know for a fact. We are proud of you, and that’s MORE than their voice could ever be. Comtinue to thrive. I love you guys.

My mom gave up alcohol when I was 12-13 and that’s is when my life really started. I spent 12-13 years taking care of my sister and myself because she wouldn’t. Everyday was hard. I never thought she would get sober, I lost any hope I had when she went to jail for over a year. Her getting arrested was the best thing that could have happened to us. It showed her that she needed to be better not only for us but for herself as well. I’m 17 now and she is the best mom I could have asked for and I have forgiven her for not giving me the full childhood I deserved. I am extremely proud of her for how far she has come. She has her own business now and I can reply on her! Don’t give up on your parents and don’t let them give up on themselves because change can happen. I am truly sorry for anyone still struggling with their parents addiction and being affected by it. It is a terrible thing to live through and I am sorry.

@Dr. Bahaa Dmour Who Can Your Blood Save? | The Blood Type Everyone Wants 🩸 ────────── Blood type compatibility is not just a label on a chart. For red blood cell transfusions, the safest routine choice is usually to give the patient the same ABO and Rh type whenever possible. In emergencies, though, doctors may use compatible emergency blood, and O negative red cells are especially important because they can be used when the patient’s blood type is still unknown. This is why some blood types are considered more flexible than others. O negative is known as the universal red cell donor, while AB positive is known as the universal recipient for red blood cells. But there is one detail many people miss: these rules do not apply the same way to every blood component. Plasma compatibility follows different rules, and AB plasma is considered universal for plasma donation. So the real message is simple: the best option is usually matching your own blood type, but in life-threatening situations medicine sometimes relies on broader compatibility rules to save time and save lives. That is exactly why knowing your blood type matters, and why some blood groups become especially valuable in emergency care. Professional medical education content. This video is carefully prepared to present anatomy, physiology, and healthcare topics in a scientific, respectful, and viewer-friendly format for public health awareness. ────────── #BloodDonation #BloodType #BloodTypes #DrBahaaDmour #smartdoctor1
