@newswav: A Singaporean couple were killed after the Ferrari they were travelling in lost control and caught fire along Jalan Johor Bahru-Mersing in Kota Tinggi, Johor, on May 9. The victims were identified as a 34-year-old Singaporean man who was driving and a 33-year-old Singaporean woman seated in the front passenger seat. They were believed to be travelling from Johor Bahru to Mersing when the incident occurred at around 9AM. Kota Tinggi district police chief said the vehicle skidded before crashing and catching fire, causing both victims to suffer severe injuries and die at the scene.
