There’s a gig for Hands in the PL dlc that, if your runner and int skills are high enough, you can say “um I’m a runner” to which hands replies, true but we need you on the ground not jockeying from a chair. Implying netrunner build V is fully capable.

V aint an actual netrunner. They buy demons and use them in combat. They definitely have the capability with netrunning shown with system access points and stuff but the combat stuff is literally just pre installed scripts

This was actually super well explained! Everyone is straight up overrating him as a netrunner when in reality it’s just pre hacks that any netrunner can have. He’s definitely the best combat based but doesn’t come close to actual netrunning. Also netrunners are the most broken thing in this world.

Because V doesn’t know how to dive into the net on their own or do it even regularly. V is more of a combat runner (like Spider Murphy but less experience) not really a NETrunner because you almost never need to dive into the NET/cyberspace.

its the same situation as in Witcher 3. you can build Geralt to be a leathal signs user but he never reaches true mage potential due to his limitations
