i mean if were going by UEFA performance over a decade, it has to be First Division 1976-1986. 7 UCLs for 3 different clubs (Liverpool, Villa and Forest) including 6 in a row. 3 UELs for 3 different clubs (Liverpool, Ipswich and Spurs) and Everton winning the '85 CWC. Spain 2009-2019 too, 7 UCLs, 6 UELs but with 2 different winners of each.

Serie A's peak might be the greatest for the number of superstar players they had n the european trophies won in that period etc. But it was still boring to watch. The tempo was soo slow. Milan v Juventus UCL final was a prime example of how boring it was to watch Italian teams against each other. Uefa even had to change rules because of that final 🤣. English league has always been fast paced n entertaining to watch, it doesn't need uefa competitions to bring interest. Continental leagues would be finished without uefa competitions and thats why they change fixtures to accommodate european competitions. English league don't need to undermine their league for them competitions.

Objectively false English teams were banned when serie a started to dominate. Also between 1975 to 1981 English clubs were in the final 7 times and won six. Sacchi milan team is very overrated considering they won during times when English clubs were banned. Do you think red start Belgrade steaua Bucharest and Porto would win champions league if English clubs weren’t banned 😂. I promise
