I have almost every apple product you can think of except a macbook. I have an hp envy laptop and its great for my school, good battery life, folds like a tablet and its touch screen, and i can play games on it! I do love apple but i think me getting an hp laptop rather than a mac was the best thing for me (personally)

As a student, go to your colleges website and look at the tech requirements OR go to your schools bookstore website and get your laptops from their it usually has what you need with what they require you to have and it also ranges from laptop to desktop if you have the money for it (I got my windows laptop for about 130 bucks when og price is like 200+)

Some Windows devices have better battery life than a Mac. I have a Surface with the ARM chip and it goes for a long time.

As a comp sci major I’ve actually seen that MacBooks run better for coding and software compared to MacBook so that’s why I got a Mac
