It’s just artificial difficulty. All it does is bump numbers up, unlike expert which shook up the entire game. I can’t find myself dealing with the annoyance just for one accessory slot (which is more like a pity slot).

it's not difficult, just annoying usual with Expert I'd be able to fight bosses impulsively to skip some of the progression grind with Master I'm forced to use the best accessories and weapons for the progression tier, prolonging some of the grinding that I do not enjoy at least that was my experience with summoner

I don't hate or like the master mode yes it increases difficulty. but it isn't that special they should atleast make it unique buff mobs and at the same time different attack pattern since for the light of empress the only thing that literally changed is her HP 💀

i think master mode is a bit unbalanced but thats kinda what i like about it, its difficult enough to be fun and entertaining while having wnough new cool stuff to make it feel rewarding

You also get a seventh and eighth accessories so I’d say if you’re smart it’s fairly balanced

the problem in master isnt the bosses its the random enemiez that hit like a truck. ive done many hardcore master mode runs and i havent died to a single boss but the rabdom enemies always get me like the red devil, it hits for 360 damage with full turtle armour and warding accessories

I forced myself to beat the game on master mode for my very first full run. did it suck? yes. did it make me much better at the game? also yes. it's not for everyone
