i get the point everyone’s making about having older parents, but you still get to have your parents and at an arguably more stable and ENJOYABLE part of their life. they’ve had time to mature, think, plan, live THEIR lives before you……i would sacrifice a decade if it meant my parents were more stable and could’ve given me a better upbringing

My mom spent her youth saving up to build a house, she met my dad in her 30’s (after it was built) had me at 42, got married at 45, then had my sister at 46 without IVF or any other assistance🙂↕️Next month my sister graduates high school and my mom turns 65!!

I think it’s great in theory but as someone who has older parents (I’m 22 - they are 66-68) I like genuinely mourn them…. It’s awful and like devastates me because they are my best friends fr. Great childhood tho!

my mom had me at 35. we spent my 15th/her 50th birthday in europe. she spent her twenties traveling and having fun with friends and it’s exactly what im doing now. we’re 25 and 60 now, that’s my best friend.

That’s correct! A recent study said that women who give birth after 40 live longer than those that don’t. I met my soulmate at 38, married at 39, I had my first baby naturally at 41, I’m now 44 (45 in July) and I’m currently naturally pregnant with my second baby! 🙏🏻
