The amount of hate, disrespect, and unnecessary bashing he receives because of shipping narratives and fandom wars is honestly exhausting to witness. What makes it even more upsetting is that some of these comments come from people who claim to support BTS, yet have no problem dragging one of its members through the mud over stories and assumptions they created themselves. At what point did it become acceptable to constantly insult, mock, and villainize someone simply because he doesn't fit a narrative that certain fans have built in their heads? Sometimes it feels like people forget that Taehyung is an actual person with real feelings and not just a character they can project their fantasies onto. He's not a prop in someone else's story, he's not an obstacle, and he's certainly not someone who deserves to be attacked day after day for existing. What disappoints me the most is seeing people act as if Taehyung isn't even part of BTS. As if he hasn't spent over a decade working alongside the members, sacrificing his youth, giving everything he has to the group, and helping build the success that people celebrate today. It's like some fans are so consumed by shipping that they've forgotten reality. Taehyung is not a side character in BTS. He is BTS. He has contributed his talent, his voice, his creativity, his hard work, and his love to the group from the very beginning. The fact that some people are so comfortable disrespecting him while calling themselves fans will never make sense to me. You don't have to bias him, you don't have to put him first, but basic respect should not be difficult. No one is asking you to love him, but constantly spreading negativity, twisting his actions, and treating him like he's less important than the other members is unfair and completely undeserved. Taehyung has always shown nothing but love and support to the members, and despite everything, he continues to carry himself with grace even when people are determined to misunderstand him. It's honestly sad that a person who has brought so much comfort, happiness, and inspiration to countless people around the world is still forced to endure this level of hatred over something as trivial as fandom preferences. Supporting your favorite member should never require tearing another member down. BTS has always stood together as seven, and no amount of shipping culture or fan-created narratives will change the fact that Taehyung is an irreplaceable part of that family. He deserves the same respect, appreciation, and protection that every member deserves. The least people can do is remember that behind the idol they criticize so easily is a human being who has done nothing to deserve the constant hate directed at him.
