long story short.. 1) I handed in my notice at a job. 2) I called in sick while working my notice. 3) was told not to come back and won't be suitable for re-employment.

M&S is defo an interesting place to work… some stores have great teams and store mgrs! Then you can be unlucky and find yourself in a toxic team, with a toxic mgr. A place I wouldn’t go back to!!

My mum had been a nurse and a teacher and had retired but fancied a few shifts. She is not meek and mild but is very kind and obviously a hard worker. The staff bullied her out of the job within a week! M&s is weird

My sister did employment law and she told me most businesses do not follow the process correctly and that’s why people often get to keep their job even when they are terrible

Thank you for sharing Jack . Unfortunately this is how m&s work they use your ability saying is good for development and if it doesn’t work for them they shut you down and treat you like rubbish despite how much work and effort you put .Good for you Jack world is bigger then M&S .I left the business too .Perfect video !!💪🙌

You had already handed in your notice- they just literally gave you your last week off as you were sick anyway. It’s normal to be removed from work group chats when you leave
