Don’t forget to use some white grease, I did on my fridge, so much softer with opening and closing process. Same with a door latches.

Mine is a kenmore and doesn’t have that clip. It opens Every time I close the door.

This just a heads up for everyone that has a two door refrigerator be it a side to side or French style doors (two doors and bottom freezers). YOU ALWAYS ALWAYS CLOSE THE LEFT THEN THE RIGHT. Notice the long panel attached to the left door behind the handle. When you close the left door you will see the panel. The panel is to prevent the cold air from escaping then close the right door. If that is not done with time the door will be damaged.

for those asking if your door doesnt have a cam for closure like this. or is a cheaper fridge, put the front legs up so its leaning back slightly and the weight of door will keep it shut
