Porn is actually the by-product of male hatred towards women. Men's hatred towards women existed long before porn and removing porn won't solve that issue (I believe our society shouldn't have porn because it's intrinsically violent towards women). The shift towards agriculture, the development of the State, and other hierarchies formed the patriarchy we still live under today. Religion and early scholars reinforced the this view and set laws to maintain the power structure.
