@reformedacres: The first thing I didn't like about having chickens was cleaning the coop. We decided to build a movable coop (chicken tractor) to solve this reoccurring problem. Every 1-2 days (or so) I move the coop, and this cuts out any cleaning of the coop floor I would need to do with a traditional coop.
