I recently had a interview with the company and they were offering for a fleet maintenance supervisor depending on experience from 85 to 95,000 a year. I went ahead and put a happy medium at 90. I had several interviews. They asked me if I’d be willing to work with them and take a lower salary in the beginning. And I asked him for how long is the beginning and they said no more than six months. So I’ll tell you what I’ll take them minimum because I do have some learning to do but once I prove it myself which I know I will do. I’m gonna be expecting closer to the 95 after six months. And I will be expecting that in writing as a contract then they tried telling me that they had an employee that was willing to relocate from Alabama to Southern California and take $68,000 a year. I said that’s nice. I’m not doing that. I get a notification that I wasn’t chosen for the job. I guess they gave it to this person with that person didn’t work out. So they come to me again but this time they’re offering 72,000 it was wondering if I’d consider it? I said sure you just gotta come up with that 23,000 that’s missing and I’ll take it. Never heard back from them again.

People have to realize that they’re working for a PAYCHECK nowadays and NOT an organization!! An organization doesn’t give a SHIT about people. They’ll lay off (literally) tens of thousands by email and not BLINK about it, so don’t feel bad about working for that PAYCHECK and not feeling ONE OUNCE of loyalty to an organization!!
