The way I used to date men who reminded me of my dad simply because it felt familiar. That's a hard truth to face. Still in therapy and coaching, and I'm unlearning so much nonsense I accepted as normal. The irony is that my dad was practically nonexistent in my life. No matter what I did, I always felt like I came last. I accepted bread crumbs from so many mens because I didn't know better. Healing has meant recognizing those patterns and choosing something different! I can't wait to meet my future husband in my healed version of myself!😮💨
