@alfrazkhan19: After World War Il, the US conducted Operation Crossroads at Bikini Atoll in 1946 to test the terrifying power of atomic bombs. More than 90 warships were gathered as targets, including battleships, carriers, submarines, and support ships from both Allied and Axis nations. Thousands of cameras, aircraft, and military personnel were there to witness the explosion. The first blast lit up the sky with a massive fireball, while the second underwater detonation created a huge column of water that swallowed ships around it. Some vessels were instantly destroyed, others slowly sank from radiation and heavy damage after the tests. This operation showed the world that naval warfare had changed forever, and that nuclear weapons could wipe out entire fleets in seconds. #nuclearbombtest
